The World’s End review by FAT Mike
Five friends who reunite in an attempt to top their epic pub crawl from 20 years earlier unwittingly become humankind’s only hope for survival.
I found another must see of 2013! I loved this movie. THE WORLDS END had me laughing from start to finish with a cast made up of Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine, Eddie Marsan, David Bradley and Pierce Brosnan you can see how. The story is clever and witty and well written. Besides the sci-fi part of the film, THE WORLDS END is a relatable film for when you are older. The cinematography feels a bit Americanized compared to Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz which isn’t a bad thing but it still has the feel of the other two films. The fight scenes are over the top, beautifully shot and a bit ridicules which is good.
THE WORLDS END is well written, funny, has grate cinematography and has a funny, awesome cast. After watching THE WORLDS END I wanted to watch it again. Cheers and remember life will never suck as long as there is a GOOD movie to watch.
