GROWN UPS 2 review by FAT Mike

 

Lenny has relocated his family back to the small town where he and his friends grew up. This time around, the grown ups are the ones learning lessons from their kids on a day notoriously full of surprises: the last day of school.

 

I have to say I enjoyed the first Grown Ups movie. This one is just like most movie sequels…not that good. Just like the first film you could tell everyone had a fun time making this; it helped that the cast are all friends of Adam Sandler which includes: Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, Salma Hayek, Maya Rudolph, Maria Bello, Nick Swardson, Jon Lovitz, Shaquille O'Neal, and WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin.
The C.G. in this movie is horrendous but with a cast like this it’s understandable but yet unforgivable why they’d cheap out. But the worst thing about this movie is that there is no real story line. It’s mostly just the 4 guys fooling around and the story is just left on the back burner. There are some good jokes that made me laugh but the sneeze-burp-fart joke losses it’s humour after the first time. All the jokes bodily functions get boring fast and takes away from the film.

 

GROWN UPS 2 has some funny moments and you can tell they had fun making but the same jokes over and over and lack of story makes it hard to recommend this movie. Cheers and remember life will never suck as long as there is a GOOD movie to watch
