JACKASS PRESENTS: BAD GRANDPA review by FAT Mike
An 86-year-old Irving Zisman takes a trip from Nebraska to North Carolina to take his 8 year-old grandson, Billy, back to his real father.
Just as I was getting annoyed and tired of hidden camera movies, along came Bad Grandpa. I thought that this film would be like Borat or other hidden camera movies but it is much better; the story is hilarious; surprisingly touching and heart warming in the end. Some of the unexpecting peoples reactions are priceless. The chemistry between Johnny Knoxville and the little boy, Jackson Nicoll, is funny and they work real well together which makes this movie enjoyful . Bad Grandpa does things that jackass did but in a new way and mix it with a real good funny story. Bad Grandpa doesn’t break new ground but from start to finish is hilarious, doesn’t die down and is a hell of a funny ride.
Bad Grandpa set a high bar for 2014. This is one of the funniest movies I seen in a long time. Johnny Knoxville still has it and this film shouldn’t be missed. Bad Grandpa is my Ted of 2014! Cheers and remember life will never suck as long as there is a GOOD movie to watch.
