Identity Thief review by FAT Mike

After getting his identity stolen and the police can’t help him, it’s up to Sandy Patterson (Jason Bateman) to travel from Denver to Miami to confront the harmless-looking woman named Diana ( Melissa McCarthy) who has been living it up after stealing his identity.

I had high hopes for IDENTITY THIEF but the laughs were too far and few between which made the movie boring and forgettable. With two big comedic stars you think the story would be much better. Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy are both loveable but this movie doesn’t show them at their best and not even the awesome list of co stars can save this IDENTITY THIEF. But I would like to see Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy work together in something much better and can show how funny these two are together.

With laughs far between and a flat story not even two awesome comedic starts, a list of funny co stars and a funny, wild sex scene can’t save IDENTITY THIEF
Cheers and remember life will never suck as long as there is a GOOD movie to watch.
