I KNOW THAT VOICE review by FAT Mike
A look into the voices behind the cartoons and videogames you love.
I finally found my favourite documentary of all time! I’m a big animation fan and I enjoyed seeing my favourite voice actors doing what they do best. With awesome talent like John DiMaggio (Bender), Kevin Conroy (Batman), Nancy Cartwright (Bart Simpson), Jim Cummings (Winnie the Pooh), Maurice LaMarche (Brain), Rob Paulsen (Pinky), Tara Strong (Bubbles), Billy West (Ren & Stimpy), Dana Snyder (Master Shake) , Mark Hamill (The Joker), and the list goes on and on!This documentary shows you how much hard work these actors go though which most people don’t know about and take for granted. This is more then just about voice actors, it’s a history of the industry and a brief, informative look at the history of cartoons. The cartoon scene changes with the music and the small effects makes this more then a documentary, it makes it fun.Two things that I found awesome in this film was the amazing history of Mel Blanc and when everyone tells you how they come up with these amazing characters. It’s stunning to see and hear how these talented actors come up the characters we know and love.
From start to finish I had a smile from ear to ear. This documentary is amazing and I wish when I was in high school they showed this in my media arts class. If you’re a fan of cartoons and video games or not, don’t let this one pass you by! i know that voice is the best documentary I've seen in years!. Cheers and remember life will never suck as long as there is a GOOD movie to watch.
