THE WOLF OF WALL STREET review by FAT Mike
Based on the true story of Jordan Belfort, from his rise to a wealthy stockbroker living the high life to his fall involving crime, corruption and the federal government.
Sex, drugs, and one hell of a movie! I think I found my first must see film of 2014! This movie is not for the soft hearted and easily offended. It grabs you by the balls right from the start. This is the BLOW for a new generation.
The Wolf of Wall Street has an outstanding cast, Leonardo DiCaprio is amazing and you get lost in his roll of Jordan Belfort. Jonah Hill is an awesome right hand man and this may be my favourite Jonah Hill movie. DiCaprio and Hill may be the stars but Margot Robbie, Matthew McConaughey, Kyle Chandler, Rob Reiner, Jon Bernthal, Jon Favreau and P.J. Byrne all bring their A game.
I’m not a fan of most movies sound tracks but I loved this one. With bands like Foo Fighters, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes and many more its fun to listen to the film as well as watch it.
The story is amazing, outrageous, jaw dropping and shocking; to top it all off that it’s based off a true story! After the movie was done I wanted to watch again and that’s how you know it’s a good movie.
THE WOLF OF WALL STREET is the best 3 hour movie I’ve see since Django Unchained. This movie has a little bit of everything, comedy, action, political, and dark but all around fun. This movie is full of drugs and a lot, and I mean A LOT of nudity so once again if you are easily offended this movie is not for you but I enjoyed the hell out of it. Cheers and remember life will never suck as long as there is a GOOD movie to watch.
