RED 2 review from FAT Mike

 

In this sequel to the 2010 movie, retired C.I.A. agent Frank Moses reunites his unlikely team of elite operatives for a global quest to track down a missing portable nuclear device.

 

I found another movie sequel that didn’t let me down! I really enjoyed the first RED film and with the same humour and over the top action I enjoyed RED 2. Just like the first film, the cast is amazing including Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker, Helen Mirren, Byung-hun Lee, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Neal McDonough and the always classy Anthony Hopkins work so well together you can’t stop watching. The story is good but like most action movies you know what’s going to happen next. One thing in RED I enjoyed was the comic book art work transition from one country to another.

 

Just like the first film, RED 2 has a nice mix of action and comedy. It also has an amazing star studded cast and I think if you were a fan of the first film you should check this sequel out. If I may say I’d like to see a third and final RED film in the future. Cheers and remember life will never suck as long as there is a GOOD movie to watch.
