ANCHORMAN 2: THE LEGEND CONTINUES review by FAT Mike

 

With the 70s behind him, San Diego's top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy, returns to take New York's first 24-hour news channel by storm.

 

This is the last movie of 2013 I saw and it was a good way to cap off the year. I’m not a big fan of comedy movie sequels but this is how it’s done! Anchorman 2 doesn’t bring anything new to the table but the story is hilarious. It flows with the first film and the jokes rarely take a pause. The film didn’t have to be 2hours long and at times it felt winded.
Everyone from the first film is back and better then ever, including Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, David Koechner, Christina Applegate and this time the news team is joined by some awesome actors like Dylan Baker, Meagan Good, James Marsden, Kristen Wiig, Liam Neeson, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, John C. Reilly, Jim Carrey, Will Smith, Vince Vaughn, and the legend Harrison Ford. With a cast like this you can’t miss this film. The movie gets a little boring and reparative at the end but it is still enjoyable if you are a fan of the first film.

 

ANCHORMAN 2 has big laughs, big cameos, and is a big sequel with non stop laughs. If you were a fan of the first film this will not be a let down to you! But as much I loved the first film and this film, I don’t think they should do a third one. Cheers and remember life will never suck as long as there is a GOOD movie to watch.
